The duties of the Building Manager will involve:
. You will be responsible for a stand-alone building with 3 storeys and a large car park.
. Dealing with anything relating to the building, including keeping everything tidy, liaising with contractors and dealing with mechanical and electrical services.
. Managing the security/access control systems.
. Liaising with Accounts Payable team in terms of processing FM related PO numbers.
. The Building Manager will be responsible for dealing with minor "handy person" tasks where possible.
. Maintaining stock levels or refreshments, stationery and organising incoming/outgoing post.
. You will also be managing the room booking system, ensuring all of the relevant equipment is set up correctly.
Skills :
A good understanding of commercial buildings is essential. There will be occasional travel to cover other offices so a driver is ideal but not essential. Basic DIY and electrics knowledge is also essential, with Health & Safety knowledge.
