Job Description
My client specialises in offering a wide variety of hands-on courses and they have invested millions into their sites to ensure that their employees have an impressive environment to work in.
This will be a 3 month contract, supporting the Executive Director of People Services whilst she focuses on introducing a new HRIS system. The role will be on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week.
You will provide strategic leadership for student engagement, workforce development, employer partnerships, and organisational culture, ensuring an outstanding student experience and a highly skilled, diverse, and engaged workforce that supports their strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
You will lead and develop strategies for student engagement, workforce development, employer engagement, and organisational culture.
Work with senior leaders and external partners to strengthen employability, skills development, talent pipelines, and community engagement.
Drive initiatives that enhance student participation, retention, progression, and success.
Champion equality, diversity, inclusion, wellbeing, and safeguarding across all areas of responsibility.
Use data, insights, and performance measures to evaluate impact and inform continuous improvement.
Develop strong relationships with employers, industry partners, and stakeholders to support workforce needs and opportunities for students.
Lead cultural change, engagement, and recognition initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive environment.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, quality standards, and safeguarding requirements.
Contribute to their strategic planning and continuous improvement agenda.
Skills :
You will need to have a level 7 CIPD Qualification with at least 5 years experience of working in a senior level HR position, ideally within a unionised organisation. Experience of previously working in the Education sector would be a huge advantage.
