Job Description
We have partnered with our client who are looking for a HR Manager to join their busy People Operations team in Longbridge.
** THIS IS FULLY OFFICE-BASED SO YOU WILL NEED TO BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO LONGBRIDGE **
The temporary contract will initially be for a period of 3 months, possibly extending to 6 months, depending on how busy it is and what projects they have pending.
As an experienced HR/People Services Manager your duties will involve:
You will be responsible for overseeing, mentoring and managing the Talent and Operations Team, driving performance and operational efficiency
The HR/People Services Manager will be responsible for managing compliance, talent acquisition and general operations
Assist with developing and implementing strategies for talent management, succession planning and employee engagement.
You will work quite closely with the HR team, including some hands-on duties such as putting a contract together and sending an offer letter out.
Overseeing HR issues and providing timely support and guidance to the Talent & Operations Team.
Implement robust operational procedures and processes
You will be involved in several projects, including working with the Director of People Services on the implementation of the new HR Information System.
You will also oversee the teams processes/procedures and look at what improvements can be made so you will need to be strategic with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Supporting the team with the growth of the department, including new hires.
Developing a positive relationship with Senior Leaders and managers to influence strategy and ensure alignment with business needs
My client is ideally looking for someone with a CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification.
They are looking for someone who is dynamic, driven and has a flexible approach to work.
