Job Description
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the College’s recreation and leisure facilities, including the gym, sports areas, and common rooms, ensuring they are welcoming, well-organised, and fully utilised.
Working collaboratively across teams, you’ll help plan and deliver a wide range of events and activities throughout the year — from Healthy Living Days and Freshers’ Fairs to sporting competitions, charity fundraisers, cultural celebrations, and end-of-term events.
What You’ll Be Doing
Organising and supporting the day-to-day use of the gym, sports facilities, and common room spaces
Working as part of a team to deliver key annual events such as Healthy Living Days, Freshers’ Fairs, Sporting Events, Children in Need, Comic/Sports Relief, charity and cultural events, and end-of-term celebrations
Encouraging wider student participation in enrichment activities that promote personal development, physical health, and positive mental wellbeing
Collaborating with curriculum teams and Student Services to design activities aligned with the equality and diversity calendar
Working closely with and supporting the Student Union
Supporting sporting competitions and activities across the College and inspiring students of all abilities to get involved
Promoting and supporting community engagement opportunities, including student volunteering

We’re seeking someone energetic, inclusive, and highly organised — someone who enjoys bringing ideas to life and creating opportunities for students to grow, connect, and succeed.
Someone who is motivated and passionate about students’ wellbeing and a Level 2 in fitness.
