Stock Manager
Birmingham
Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
£40,000pa
Are you an experienced Stock Manager who is looking for a new challenge?
Do you want to join an established business who have just reached record breaking figures?
The Stock Managers position will be mainly focused on stock management performance.
You will be responsible for reviewing and reporting stock value and availability across the function to shareholder levels.
You will also be responsible for managing a team of stock controllers.
Forecasting, placing purchase orders and chasing order confirmations/confirming delivery dates.
Booking deliveries in and making sure all NCRC issues are distributed correctly.
You will be the main point of contact for escalation purposes and manage new retail customers into the business.
Ensuring your colleagues are following the correct process in terms of new lines, de-listing and slow moving/overstocks.
The Stock Manager will be responsible for building relationships with internal departments to improve processes such as Air Freight approval sign off and prioritising urgent containers.
You will need to have previous experience in stock control, inventory management or a demand planning role within a fast paced supply chain environment, also with experience of dealing with large numbers/fast moving products.
