Imports Manager
£40,000pa
Birmingham
Monday - Friday, 9-5:30pm
Are you an experienced Imports Manager looking for a new opportunity, where you will be working for a company who are extremely proud of their record breaking figures?

You will be working for a well-established business who are looking for an experienced Imports Manager to join their successful and busy team.
The successful Imports Manager will be monitoring all Imports for ETA.
You will be monitoring and confirm ETA of the vessel with the shipping line website.
You will confirm tariff headings and applicable rates of duty.
Freight negotiation on annual tenders and other ad-hoc freight requirements.
Create shipping notifications and File SN.
Copy documents from shippers and prepare documents for the clearing agent.
Monitoring Imports and confirming tariff headings.
You will be monitoring the arrival of containers and booking containers as per stock requirements to avoid charges.
You will need to have previously used SAP or a similar system with previous experience of imports procedures and general shipping documents.
Skills :
You will need knowledge of Imports procedures and the general Shipping process.
Ideally you will need to have used SAP or similar.
