Our client is looking for a senior laboratory chemist to join their growing team.
Offering a competitive salary of £32,000 - £34,000, dependent on experience.
Permanent, full-time position.
Opportunity to play a key role in developing future laboratory talent.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the day-to-day management and smooth operation of the laboratory.
Carry out routine chemical analysis and wet chemistry testing.
Ensure laboratory procedures are followed accurately and
efficiently.
Support and mentor graduate chemists through structured training and development.
Assist in maintaining and improving laboratory quality systems and standards
Promote and support Health & Safety best practice throughout the laboratory.
Assist with reviewing, developing and implementing laboratory
procedures and processes.
Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.

Skills :
Previous experience working within a laboratory environment,
ideally in a senior or supervisory capacity
Strong wet chemistry and analytical laboratory experience.
Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a
laboratory setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
