Are you looking to go into the Procurement industry?
Well, we are looking for a Junior Procurement Administrator to join one of our companies in Kidderminster and there is a chance of career progression within the company!!
Your duties will include:
- Receive, action and order all quotes/orders in a timely manner, in line with
KPIs.
- Chase outstanding quotes/orders on a weekly basis and log and
updates/responses on the database in full
- Liaise with colleagues and suppliers face to face and via telephone
- Issue repair quotations
- Support the Procurement Manager to maintain ISO accredited supplier lists
- Purchase spares and consumables as required for all departments
- Manage the returns process from end to end, including liaising with suppliers
and the Operations team regarding any additional reordering costs and
updating the order spreadsheet and job cards accordingly.
- Maintain the Order Spreadsheet
- Manage all inbound and outbound post
- Collate invoice information, investigate/correct any discrepancies and pass
to the accounts department for payment.
- Carry out general administration as required
- Ensure all quotes and orders are processed within 48 hours of receipt
- Chase outstanding credits on a weekly basis

Skills :
- Previous experience working in a Procurement department or similar role is

- Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work within guidelines given and to deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure and take a logical, calm approach

- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
- Good verbal communication and listening skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Must have Level 4 or above in Maths or English
