Job Description
Working within the quality inspection department of a busy well known manufacturing business based in Hockley. The key aspects of the role will involve checking the first offs against the engineering drawings and making detailed notes about any discrepencies. Logging the differences on the in-house quality system and reporting the differences to the quality manager. The successful candidate will need to liaise with management and shop floor staff alike. Being clear in instruction and very thorough and detailed in approach. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30 and Friday 08:00 to 13:00. There is no lunch break on a Friday.
Skills :
Must be able to read engineering drawings. Must have a good knowledge of manufacturing operations.
