I have partnered with a group of childrens homes who are looking for people that are passionate about truly making a difference in childrens lives. My client is passionate about providing ongoing training and support, so they''re looking for an on-site trainer to join their passionate and determined team.
As an experienced training professional you will work alongside the management team to meet the company’s training and development needs. You will deliver training, supporting staff education, implementing appraisals, and ensuring the workforce is equipped with the skills and knowledge to provide outstanding care.
You will research, design and deliver training programmes to front line staff.
Work closely with registered managers to discuss ways to improve quality of service.
Providing training to staff who are undergoing level 3 diplomas.
Maintaining the employee database and making sure everything meets compliance requirements.
Creating and monitoring company wide training plans.
Skills :
Recognised training qualification (e.g. PTLLS/DTLLS, AET, or equivalent).
MUST HAVE experience delivering training in the Children''s residential care settings and knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in children’s residential care.
Accreditation in restraint/physical intervention training.
Experience designing and delivering bespoke training packages.
Previous experience supporting staff undertaking NVQs or Diplomas.
MUST be able to deliver, as a minimum, the below courses for a Children''s Residential Care setting::
First Aid
PBS 3 Day
PBS 1 Day Refresher
Safeguarding Whistleblowing
Medication Administration
Suicide Self Harm Awareness and Ligature Training
PACE/NVR
