Hours of work: 40 hours plus sleep ins. You will work 2 days on and 4 days off which includes sleep ins but this will vary on a rota basis.
As an experienced senior residential support worker you will be responsible for providing high standards of care, support and encouragement to the children to enable them to flourish.
You will be supporting 10-18 year olds who are fairly settled but will at times struggle with their emotional and behavioural needs.
Supporting the children with their leisure interested inside and outside of the home.
Recording their activities daily, inside and outside of the home.
Carry out risk and key worker assessments.
You will need to have at least 2 years experience of working with children and a driving license.
Skills :
Must be NVQ Level 3 Level 4 Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or QCF Level 4 Children, Young People & Families Practitioner qualified with a full UK driving licence
