Job Description
Support the day-to-day operation of the Quality department through an understanding of the systems, procedures and processes that form the Quality Management System.
A good working knowledge of Hazard Analysis based on the principles of Codex Alimentarius (full training will be provided).
Ensure returned products are dealt with in line with company procedures and customers are notified accordingly.
Support the quality function in the control and picking of expired and quarantined stock by arranging sales, charity disposals and customer returns.
Support completion and verification of temperature documents, glass and hard plastic checks and fabric and hygiene inspections.
Support and verification of all contract-packing checks and along with verification of relevant paperwork.
Collation of data and completion of the damaged stock and returns report.
Support, undertake and manage the companies Distress Load service.
Undertake fortnightly checks regarding jewellery and PPE checks.
Undertake weekly checks on glass breakage kits ensuring correct documentation is completed.
Responsible for monitoring the activities of the pest control and refrigeration contractors.

Skills :
Computer literacy in standard Microsoft business programmes, e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook at a basic level or above
Numeracy & Literacy Skills
Previous experience in a Quality role
Previous experience in a warehouse environment (chilled)
