Job Description

My client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers, who are now looking for an experienced HR officer to join their small and friendly HR team.

THIS POSITION WILL BE MOSTLY BASED IN TH BIRMINGHAM OFFICE BUT THIS WILL VARY AND YOU WILL NEED TO TRAVEL TO WEST BROMWICH, SOME WEEKS 2/3 TIMES WEEKLY, SO YOU WILL NEED TO DRIVE.

Although you will have the support of your colleagues you will need to have extensive employment law knowledge and the ability to deal with HR queries independently.

The HR Officer will be managing employee engagement initiatives and develop training strategies.

Supporting colleagues with a variety of ER related queries - the company employs a total of 330 employees.

You will oversee payroll processing, ensuring procedures remain compliant and up to date.

Also providing advice and support on disciplinary, grievance, and absence management issues, ensuring consistency and compliance with current legislation and company policies.

You will be responsible for managing and supporting Manage the full employee life cycle, from recruitment to leavers.

Assist in supporting Health & Safety and Environmental aspects of the Group Management System.

You will need at least 3 years previous HR experience with a CIPD Level 3 qualification.

Skills :

You will need to have a CIPD Level 3, with 3 years previous experience working in a HR position. Ideally you will have previously worked in a Manufacturing environment but this isn''t essential.
