Job Description
This exciting new role is coming to market with one of the UK’s leading manufacturer of metallic and plastic assemblies. Our client has facilities located in the UK and USA and serves a variety of industrial sectors.
This role is solely based in the UK currently and will require no overseas travel, it will however require travel to each of the Midlands based sites when needed and is a full-time on-site role based at the companies Birmingham Head Office for a Health, Safety and Environmental Lead.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the EHS management systems, risk assessments, internal audits, incident investigations and reporting against HSE performance metrics. They will also be required to manage and monitor the UK group’s ESG strategy and provide detailed reports to Senior Management and Directors.
This position will be governed by company procedures, goals and objectives related to, environmental and health and safety legislation and standards (ISO14001). The candidate should possess the ability to understand, review and improve procedures, and policies as appropriate.
Skills :
Experience with HSE management systems implementation and maintenance
ESG management experience would be beneficial
Ability to develop, implement, and maintain Safety processes
Experience in a manufacturing industry is essential
NEBOSH (General Certificate) qualified or working towards NEBOSH certificate accreditation.
NEBOSH Environmental certificate
COSHH Trained
