Job Description
My client works with some global recognised brands, where they support premium private-label products in candles, home fragrance, toiletries, décor, and kitchenware. They are a well-established global company who have exciting plans for rapid growth throughout the UK, whilst collaborating with some well recognised household brands and worldwide retailers.
You will act as a critical liaison between design, suppliers, logistics, and sales channels, ensuring products move seamlessly from concept through manufacturing to global distribution. This role is especially relevant given my clients international scope and high production standards.
You will office-based 3 days each week and working from home 2 days.
Manage orders, production timelines, and quality expectations with overseas suppliers
You will act as point of contact between suppliers, quality control teams, and logistics
Order Tracking and project follow-up, tracking purchase orders through ERP systems
Monitor lead times, resolve delays, and provide updates to internal stakeholders
Assist with demand forecasts and inventory projections
Quality & Compliance Oversight
Coordinate with QA teams to enforce international ethical, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g. BSCI, SMETA, FSC, ISO)
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyse sales trends, stock figures, and performance metrics to support budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategies
Generate reports to inform merchandising decisions and commercial optimisation
Work closely with Design, Sourcing, Buying, Marketing, and Logistics to ensure seamless handoffs and project execution
Engage with distributors and internal teams across regions for product launches
Supply chain optimisation
Recommend improvements in lead time, cost-efficient sourcing, and sustainable suppliers
Support sustainability initiatives aligned with the company ethos
You will need to be detail orientated with previous global merchandising experience
Skills :
You will need to have previous merchandising experience in one of the following sectors: fragrances, candles, homeware, kitchenware, gifts, or a similar retail background, dealing with global brands.
