Job Description
My client works for some global recognised brands, where they support premium private-label products in candles, home fragrance, toiletries, décor, and kitchenware. They are a well-established company who are experiencing rapid growth throughout the UK, whilst collaborating with some well recognised household brands and worldwide retailers.
The position will be based in the office in Kings Heath for 3 days each week and 2 days working from home.
As an experienced Brand Licensing Manager you will define and execute licensing roadmap: target global brand IP, European design-aligned categories, and new territories.
Overseeing partnership management and negotiation.
Source, pitch, and close brand licensing agreements—ensuring alignment with brand values, governance, and commercial targets.
You will act as licensing lead and liaison: manage approvals, ensure UK/EU compliance, support product launches, and nurture ongoing relationships.
Ensure licensed products fully reflect the brand’s DNA and uphold design standards.
Working with legal to monitor IP usage, address infringements, and enforce contractual obligations.
Collaborate closely with design, sourcing, engineering, and marketing teams to translate licensed IP into viable consumer products.
Oversee creative approvals and ensure timely delivery of assets for product roll-out.
Financial Oversight & Performance Reporting
Develop royalty modelling, financial forecasting, and licensing P&L tracking.
Build networks with licensors, retailers, and industry partners, showcasing licensed-products.
You will have at least 5 years previous license branding experience, ideally in home fragrance, FMCG, beauty, or consumer goods. Also able to demonstrate a track record in contracting, negotiation, and managing licensed IP across multiple geographies, especially UK/EU.
