You will be working for a Global company who has been established for over 27 years. This is an extremely exciting role that has been created for an experienced Head of Compliance to join their UK team who are going through an exciting period of growth.

Ideally, you will need to have previous experience in Cosmetics, fragrances, candles or homeware.
The Head of Compliance will be developing and maintaining quality standards for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
Implement and manage QC procedures (e.g., batch testing, stability testing, visual inspections).
Conducting root cause analysis for non-conformances and lead CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) initiatives
Liaise with production to ensure good Manufacturing practice standards are followed.
Ensuring all of the relevant compliances are adhered to.
Conduct internal audits and support external inspections or certifications (e.g., ISO 22716).
Ensure traceability of ingredients and packaging through supply chain documentation.
Approve and audit suppliers of raw materials and packaging components.
Review technical documentation including specifications, Certificates of Analysis and allergen declarations.
Train internal staff on QC and compliance procedures.
Stay updated with regulatory changes and ensure the company’s practices are current.
Skills :
Ideally you will have a Degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or similar scientific field. Proven experience in cosmetic product compliance or manufacturing with cosmetic formulation or manufacturing.
