Our client is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team.
This role is a permanent position, office based working 40 hours per week.
Salary is dependant on experience
They are looking for a candidate with these key attributes
Must be able to resolve and prioritise conflicting requirements
Must have a can do attitude
Ability to multitask
Excellent customer service
Duties include
Managing customers orders via email and phone
Booking and tracking shipments
Providing quotes for shipments for EU and UK transport
Dealing with line stoppage situations
Offering air freight solutions
Responding to customer enquires
Accurate paperwork filing
Clear and accurate communication
Closing job files obtaining POD etc

Skills :
Must be computer literature including MS Office, email, spreadsheets and data bases
Good level of numeracy and literacy
CPC an advantage but not essential
Knowledge of Transport and freight forwarding
Account management
Excellent communication skills
European planning experience is essential
Previous experience or working in a similar role
