Job Description

On behalf of a superb client of ours we''re looking for an On-Site Recruitment Labour Manager with civil engineering or construction industry knowledge in the Birmingham region!

This role requires someone with a "CAN DO" attitude, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.

As the new On-Site Recruitment Labour Manager, you''ll be based near Hams Hall, Coleshill in the mornings, visiting clients on-site locally in the afternoons or working from the Birmingham Office.

A driving license is a must, and they offer a company car to make sure you can get where you need to go.

Working closely with the Operations Manager, this is a tough role that requires someone familiar with the nitty-gritty of recruitment. While civils experience is a bonus, we''re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and thrive in a demanding environment. The success is built based on their great relationships with clients, and they need someone who can help them maintain that.

Key Responsibilities:

- Site engagement with supervisors, foremen, works managers upwards.

- Site engagement with workers.

- Be the link between the recruitment team and the client for resourcing needs.

- Resource and recruit alongside the recruitment team to ensure client needs are met.

- Ensuring day to day queries are answered and problems are solved from the client and workers.

- Ensuring new starters have their relevant site inductions and training organised.

- Ensuring new starter emails are sent to the onboarding team.

- Ensuring new starters have the legal and contractual compliant PPE to be on site.

- Ensuring site stores are stocking with PPE.

- Reviewing and communicating weekly holiday to site.

- Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client.

- Offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates.
