Achieve all productivity goals set, effectively self-managing and adapting to ever changing departmental and customer needs Action quote requests for all sales channels, confidently utilising our current supplier base for products which are above and beyond what is available in our catalogue and systems; ensuring best price and delivery is sought in line with the Conflict Mineral Policy Promote NOW quotes by fact finding & gathering key information on the call where possible, that allows you to offer a solution on the call. On non-immediate quotes, manage workloads to efficiently allow quote completion to our customer service promise metric Regularly communicate with relevant teams to agree quoting strategies allowing for maximum conversions Successful attainment of personal conversion targets to support MSC’s sales plan Support and guide all Internal and External customers on product selection, product search string, call conferencing and catalogue navigation Promote an “Easy to Do Business With” ethos by maintaining a positive can do attitude on all internal and external transactions Build and maintain successful relationships with our suppliers, internal and external customers Have some commercial awareness, of the industry, margin and product, share cross functionally to help improve/maintain customer experience across departments Any other duties in line with business and departmental needs
