My client is going through an exciting period of growth and they''re creating new roles for passionate people to join their team. Although they are well-established they continue to expand in countries such as India and the USA.
They are looking for a confident, commercially minded Sales Executive to help grow their warehousing and haulage business across the Midlands. This role is all about winning new customers, building strong relationships, and keeping their warehouse space working hard.
You’ll be selling pallet storage and associated logistics services to manufacturers, distributors, importers, and retailers — spotting opportunities, opening doors, and turning conversations into long-term partnerships.
If you enjoy being out in the field, picking up the phone, and closing deals in a fast-moving logistics environment, this could be a great fit.
Selling pallet storage space to both new and existing customers
Actively generating leads through cold calling, emails, networking, and referrals
Identifying customers with short-term overflow or long-term storage needs
Preparing and negotiating pricing, contracts, and service agreements
Maximising warehouse occupancy and pallet utilisation
Promoting and upselling wider group services including haulage, 2-man delivery, and related solutions
Building strong, long-lasting relationships with customers
Taking the time to understand each customer’s supply chain and storage requirements
Acting as the main point of contact from initial enquiry through onboarding
Working closely with warehouse and haulage teams to ensure a smooth, reliable service
Keeping an eye on the local market, competitors, and pricing trends
Liaising regularly with warehouse managers and operational teams
Providing clear sales activity and performance updates
You will need proven B2B sales experience (ideally in logistics, warehousing, transport, or industrial services)
Strong negotiation and closing skills, and a confident, professional communicator
Able to understand warehouse capacity and commercial pricing
You may be occasionally visiting customers so you will need to have a driving license
