Are you a whizz on Excel and available to start work immediately?
Do you also have previous experience of working in a Purchasing environment?
This is a 6-12 month contract starting immediately. It''s an office based role, working in Telford with some work from home available (the actual days will vary so flexibility will be required).
We have partnered with a newly established Manufacturing who are constantly evolving. They are in the process of working on an exciting product that they are about to launch and they''re now looking for a Purchasing Assistant to support the Director.
This opportunity would be initially working in a temporary contract but it could potentially lead to something more long-term.
You will be working in a small and friendly team, where you will be working closely with the Director.
As an experienced Purchasing Assistant you will be responsible for the billing of materials.
Experience of BoM/Billing of Materials is essential for this role.
Ideally you will need previous experience of using Odoo, but my client is prepared to train the right person.
Liaising with suppliers and analysing data/part numbers.
Inputting part numbers into the system and checking parts numbers against orders.,
Creating spreadsheets and cross checking various bits of information.
Skills :
You will need to have advanced knowledge of Excel, ideally with previous experience of using Odoo but training will be provided.
