Job Description
One of our clients in Redhill are currently on the lookout for an Assistant Cashier to help out at their busy site. This will be covering long term sickness for 6 weeks however, this will be reviewed and may be a longer contract.
Monday to Friday - full time position
Hours: 8:30am-5pm
Pay rate: £14.84ph paid weekly
Contract: Temporary for 6 weeks to be reviewed.
Office based for 3 days and WFM for 2 days a week.
You will be required to assist in ensuring that the cashiers department functions run as smoothly as possible daily.
Duties include:
- Coding and allocation of all payments received faily to enable the credit controllers accounts to be as up to date as possible for the collection of cash
- Formatting excel bank each day
- Give Credit Control Manager daily figures in Line Managers absence
- Banking of all checks received
- Obtaining remittances not received for BACS payments via phone calls first, emails second and then allocating once received.
