Job Description
To work as part of the technical and operational team to correctly classify hazardous wastes coming into and out of the transfer station in line with the permit requirements and to ensure the upmost standard of compliance are achieved. To assist Management with the day-to-day administration requirements of a growing hazardous waste Management Company. To assist the sales team with enquiries in a customer facing and administration role.
Key Duties
Technical site support & monitoring.
Assist the Technical Team with classification requirements.
Technical assessment of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with and input into our integrated waste management software database system.
Monitoring the quality of paperwork coming into and out of site, including third-parties, and reporting.
Maintaining and updating of the quality management system.
Participate in customer and supplier site audits.
Generation of legal paperwork for UK & Europe.
Booking of outgoing waste loads.
Arranging Transport and Haulage services.
Assisting the sales team with technical queries.

Skills :
Must have Minimum of 2 Years working as a Site Chemist in the Hazardous Waste Industry this is Essential
Must have Minimum Degree Level in Chemistry, Environmental Science or related Discipline this is Essential
Knowledge of Microsoft software including Word and Excel.
Ability to work within a team and on own initiative.
Attention to accuracy and detail in all forms of work
