Job Description
My rapidly growing client, based in Birmingham, are seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
The right candidate will:
-Have previous experience within a food production environment, either as a Supervisor or Team Leader
-Be knowledgeable of the BRC internal audit process, GMPs and KPIs
-Have strong leadership and management experience
-Be able to implement health and safety procedures
-Have a Food Science related degree or 3 years'' supervisor experience
-Have a HACCP Level 3 qualification
Duties for this role include:
-Motivating and supervising Team Leaders
-Effectively managing the site hygiene functions
-Effectively managing the production and dispatch operations, from start to finish
-Implementing policies and procedures
-Dealing with any employee relation issues and reviewing training needs
-Ensuring all production equipment is maintained and serviced appropriately
-Working towards BRC audits
-Ensuring that there is sufficient staff to cover all areas of production
