Job Description
Human Resources Duties:
- Timely and accurate preparation of weekly wages
- Submission of Real Time information to HMRC
- Ensuring that all related spreadsheets are kept up to date
- Ensuring that holidays are administrated accurately
- Sickness and absence monitoring
- Assist in the accurate completion of Payroll Month End, including journals
- Completion of forms for past and present employees including P46, Car, P45 and P60
- Assist in the timely and accurate completion of the annual Inland Revenue return including P11d''s
- Keeping relevant procedures up to date
- Administration of workwear and PPE
- Assist in the recruitment process
Health & Safety Duties:
- Assisting the Health & Safety Manager with the upkeep of Health & Safety standards both practical and administrative
- Preparation of minutes for Health & Safety related meetings
- Liaison with contractors
- Administration of training courses
- Administration of safe operating procedures
Skills :
To succeed in this position you will need:
- The ability to communicate at all levels both written and verbal
- Possess Excellent IT skills specifically Excel and Word
- A can do attitude and the ability to react and resolve situations as they arise
- Understanding of a Manufacturing environment would be an advantage
- High attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workloads
- Previous use of Opera 3 would be a distinct advantage
- Knowledge of Health and Safety administrative procedures
- understanding of ISO accreditation would be an advantage
