Our Staffordshire based client is currently recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to join their developing and growing Warehouse Team.
This is an exciting position for a candidate that is looking for a long term, stable position with a company that invests heavily in their staff and is looking for the right candidate to bring value to the team.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation that can fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set targets.
- Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately.
- Where possible resolve any issues or problems which occur in the warehouse. Where appropriate elevate the issue to a more senior level
- Report near misses /accidents and incidents
- Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of products and materials is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures.
- Ensure hazardous materials are stored in accordance with company policy
- Maintain high standards of security in the warehouse.
- Ensure staff comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and work safely to protect themselves and others in the warehouse.
- Ensure a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency.
***PLEASE NOTE*** this company plans to introduce a rotational shift pattern in 2024 and will require staff to be able to work both morning and afternoons. Please do not apply if you cannot accommodate rotational shift patterns.

Skills :
Previous experience or a current Reach Truck Licence is an advantage.
Manage time and attendance for operatives within the area of responsibility and support supervisor with people management issues.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with staff regularly to make them aware of priorities, targets, and operational requirements.
Proficient with warehouse procedures and possess good computer skills
Organized, punctual, and efficient.
Comply with the Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies
Assertive, resilient, and welcomes change.
