Location: Nottingham
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week, with an early finish on Fridays
Do you understand how CNC machined components are manufactured and costed? Can you turn engineering drawings and customer enquiries into accurate, competitive quotations?
We''re looking for a Sales & Estimator with experience in precision engineering to help secure profitable work, identify new opportunities and build strong customer relationships.
What will you be doing?
Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
Developing manufacturing methods, material requirements and estimated machining times.
Sourcing and negotiating prices for subcontract processes.
Preparing accurate quotations and following up on opportunities.
Working closely with Engineering, Operations and Purchasing to confirm costs, capability and capacity.
Keeping customer and supplier records up to date on the ERP system.
What are we looking for?
Essential experience with CNC milled and turned components.
A solid understanding of manufacturing processes and costs.
The ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
An organised, proactive approach with a commercial mindset.
