Job Description
Working on behalf of our central Birmingham client, we are recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative/Driver to support our clients production, and warehouse operations. There is also some driving duties involved which requires a clean licence and the use of the company vehicle.
We are seeking an individual who has the right attitude and can demonstrate a "can do" approach to daily tasks. This role brings a lot of variety so will suit someone who can adapt accordingly and be able to maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, as well as handling goods, and also delivering and collecting products in the company van as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing products for dispatch
Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
Delivering and collecting goods from and to suppliers as required
Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse, including general tidying
Moving stock around the warehouse (manually or using equipment such as pallet trucks or forklifts)
Assisting with stock control, stock checks, and inventory management
Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
Full, clean UK driving licence
Previous warehouse and/or delivery driving experience preferred
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willing to undertake varied duties
Desirable:
Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
