A prestigious global manufacturing company with over 150 sites worldwide, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Shift Manager to join their team. Role Overview:
As a Shift Manager, you will report directly to the Production Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production floor. Your responsibilities will encompass safety leadership, production performance, quality control, people management, communication, machinery maintenance, housekeeping, and compliance.

Rotating Shift Patterns: Weekly rotation. 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am.

Key Responsibilities:
Safety Leadership: Enforce site safety rules, conduct daily safety conversations, and ensure compliance with LOTO procedures.
Production Performance: Monitor and achieve daily production targets, manage KPIs, and implement standardised working practices.
Quality Control: Oversee quality checks, address non-conforming products, and collaborate with the Quality Department.
People Management: Allocate staff, manage breaks and absences, coach team members, and maintain training records.
Communication: Provide structured handovers, report key issues, and keep the team informed about priorities.
Machinery & Maintenance: Ensure daily maintenance, report breakdowns, and operate machines within safe parameters.
Housekeeping & Standards: Maintain 5S standards, keep areas clear, and lead by example.
Documentation & Compliance: Complete shift paperwork accurately and support audits.
