Job Description
We have partnered with a company within the west midlands, who are looking for an experienced residential manager to join their passionate team.
You will supporting a company with recruiting a new team from scratch, that will house up to 45 age 18 plus residents.
As an experienced residential manager you will ensure the Support Workers, Senior Support Workers and Deputy Managers understand and appropriately respond to each individual’s needs.
Ensuring daily, weekly and monthly auditing evidences quality and compliance with internal and external requirements and regulations.
You will also make sure the residents receive person-centred care and are treated with dignity and respect.
The people they support always consent to care and treatment (or the principles of the MCA are applied) and that they''re safe.
Overseeing the day to day duties, such as people being safeguarded from abuse and improper treatment.
The nutritional and hydration needs of people we support are met
The Premises and equipment are appropriate and safe, whilst ensuring the organisation receives complaints and takes appropriate action.
Display qualities of good governance and that the staffing is safe and appropriate
Skills :
A driving license is essential with experience in working with adults and young people with support needs . You will have experience of delivering care that meets the fundamental standards. You will also need to have worked with extended teams such as CQC/safeguarding etc.
