Our client is a leading European injection moulding machinery manufacturer with a growing UK presence here in the UK. We are recruiting for a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic UK team. This is a pivotal role for the business and you will install , commission, maintain and repair their range of injection moulding machinery. You will also be representing their commitment to excellence at customer sites across the UK.
Installation and commissioning of injection moulding machinery and auxiliary equipment.
Perform planned annual maintenance
Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently and accurately.
Provide technical support and training to customers.
Conduct machine audits.
Maintain accurate and timely reports.
Strict adherence to customer H&S regs.
Ensure that you represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams.
Extensive travel across the North West and Nationwide as required.
Be willing and able to work away from home during the working week.
Actively participate in technical training to stay current with the latest technology.
You will need to demonstrate UK recognised engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or NVQ Level 3) in mechanical, electrical or a related engineering discipline or have completed a recognised apprenticeship.
Minimum of 3 years experience as an engineer, ideally in the plastic injection moulding industry.
Able to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.
Strong organisational skills.
Full clean UK driving licence.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Skills :
Experience with specific injection moulding machinery
Knowledge of robotics and automation systems used in injection moulding
Expertise in process optimisation and troubleshooting moulding defects
Formal training on injection moulding technologies or equipment.
Ability to deliver technical training to customers.
