Job Description
Trainee machine setter/operative required
Monday to Thursday 08.00 till 4.30pm
Friday 8.00 till 1.30pm
37.5 hours per week
£11.25 per hour
Temp to perm position for the right candidate
Work practices are correctly set up safely
Accurate and safe set up of machines each morning and during changeovers
Monitoring and quality checks of parts
Communicate any quality or machine related issues to plant manager
Adhoc warehouse duties
Ensure safe isolation of all machines including compressors on a daily basis
Machines and conveyors are isolated when not in use
Machine maintenance
Shop floor housekeeping
Goods inwards experience
Packing and dispatch duties
Manual handling will be involved
FLT an advantage
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines
