About the role:
Our Renew division requires an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, working from our newly refurbished head office in Birmingham.
Our Renew Division is cross-discipline and provides a wide portfolio of clients with property construction, planned maintenance, facilities management and waste management services. This Division spans the reparation of contemporary buildings as well as heritage restoration projects, in both the private and public sectors. Project values range from between £200k to £3m.
Reporting to a Senior QS the Assistant QS will assist with the management of all the financial and contractual aspects of a project(s). Helping to ensure that financial probity and the commercial aspects of a project are managed effectively and profitably.
Who we are looking for:
Assistant Quantity Surveyors applying should have approximately 2 years relevant QS experience, alongside competent IT skills, experience of negotiating and effective communication skills.
It is essential that the candidate is educated to a relevant degree level. A valid CSCS card or additional qualifications or training is desirable.
